Virtually all Primary weapons with the exception of Scout Rifles can compete against other primary weapons. However Destiny 2 has the superior weapons sandbox. Both Destiny and Destiny 2 have a good selection of modes to choose from as well as plenty of different maps. PvP: For players who enjoy PvP, Crucible is where you will likely be spending a large portion of your time.On top of that it is easier to move from planet to planet without spending a bunch of time in orbit and you can fast travel between locations. The bottom line is there is just a lot more to do in Destiny 2. The season model that Destiny 2 uses adds new content on a regular basis as well. Destiny 2 has even brought back the moon from the original Destiny although it has been altered somewhat.

There are worlds to explore, plenty of raids, dungeons and many competitive modes such as Gambit and Crucible.

There are 4 elemental subclasses that group abilities making the process of developing your character easier. However beyond that each character has new and special abilities in Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 also has the edge when it comes to exotics. In Destiny many weapons had to be upgraded, and you may spend a lot of time and resources to level up a weapon just to find out it isn’t very good which can be disappointing.

Also all weapons in Destiny 2 are already fully leveled up. This provides you with more options when you arm your Guardian. A weapons category is based on the ammunition it uses rather than its make so you can equip similar weapons such as 2 different auto rifles. However in Destiny 2 the way weapons are classified was changed so that there are now kinetic, energy and power weapons. Weapons: In both Destiny and Destiny 2 players can carry three weapons.
